The weather was not as cooperative this week as we had hoped. However, many of the already sodded holes were mowed, and clean-up work has begun on those holes. Sodding should resume as early as next week, as the field where we get our sod from should be dry enough for them to cut and deliver new sod to us. For now our hope is for dry weather for the next 7-10 days so we can get the final greens sprigged.
· Greens - #17 was sprigged, #9, #18 surface floor has been dug out and once it is dry enough, the final grade, gravel and greens mix will be added so “sprigging” can happen. Putting green is ready to be sprigged pending final approval from Chet.
· Green side bunkers - #17 was completed and work started on repairing some slight damage to those areas due to the rains
· Fairways – all sodded fairways except for #16 have been mowed now which is good progress.
Next Week –Concentration will be heavily devoted to finishing work on #5, #9 and #18 green complexes so that those greens can be sprigged as well as the green surrounds. Check back next Friday for another golf course update and also check out our website for more pictures and drone videos.
