Thankfully the weather man was wrong and the rain this week was minimal so much progress was made. Grass has now been laid on every hole and work continues on cleaning –up holes and working towards the final product.
· Greens - #5, #9, Nursery green were sprigged late Saturday and the last green #18 will be sprigged by Monday. Now work can be turned to nursing all greens to the best health possible
· Green side bunkers - #5, #8 and #18 have been installed and that completes the greenside bunkers.
· Fairways - Most of the front nine fairways have had their initial fairway lining cuts made and verticutting of some fairways have also begun. Topdressing is ongoing on all of the fairways to help smooth the fairways.
Next Week - Work will be concentrating on fairway bunkers and finishing out sodding the remaining fairways that the construction crew has been using as service roads to all areas of the course.
