John Phillips
Head Golf Professional at Houston Oaks

John comes to us after four years at Island View Golf Club in Waconia, Minnesota as the Assistant Golf Professional,  two years at The Woodlands Country Club, Palmer Course in The Woodlands, Texas as the Assistant Golf Professional then five yeas at the same course as the Head Golf Professional, and most recently the First Assistant Golf Professional at Shadow Hawk Golf Club in Houston, Texas since 2002.

John graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Arts and has been a PGA Member since 1994.  In 1999 he was the STPGA Eastern Chapter Junior Golf Leader, has been named “Consistent Top 30 players in the STPGA” and in 2009 he Finished in the Top 15 for Player of the Year Award.
